Ruth Zimmerman has been involved with the mission in Papua New Guinea since 1992. She currently resides in Lae, where she works in helping to educate students at the Melanesian Bible College. Ruth is very involved with the congregations in PNG and has dedicated most of her adult life to ministering to the people of Papua New Guinea in a variety of roles, including translating and printing materials for the use of the church in P.N.G., teaching literacy classes, and running a variety of services for the M.B.C. students, including library services. Ruth also works closely with visiting teams and individuals, enabling them to serve most effectively during their short term visits. Much of the success in Lae can be attributed to her contributions over the years as a long-term missionary. Her dedication to the spreading of the gospel in this part of the world has brought many people to knowing Christ and to following Him.
